Thanks to all those who sponsor our events:
The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans. (More)
Post 7 programs include the American Legion Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion and American Legion Riders, flag advocacy, homeless veteran outreach, Veterans Administration service coordination, sponsorship of Boy and Girl Scouts, Color Guard and Honor Guard/Firing Squad. We participate in many local patriotic events including parades and memorial services. To find out more, please use the menu above to navigate to each area.
Our highest held obligation is providing honors for those veterans who have passed away. To request an Honor Guard detail for a deceased veteran, the Funeral Home Director should contact the American Legion. Support will be coordinated through a Legion Post.
